We run Aurek and the 121 for new players and advanced players to give them a home while giving us the ability to gather content in support of Bioware, EA, and SWTOR. We love what we do!
We support the community through our weekly podcast, SiDEQUEST, by helping players in game, teaching PVP skills, and being online every night in support of players.
We are gamers just like you! Some of us are brand new, while others have played since the game launched in 2011. We have two guilds: Republic Task Force Aurek and the ONE TWENTY ONE.
A common thread in both of our guilds: we both follow military protocols. Our founding guild, Republic Task Force Aurek, had its origins in Star Wars Galaxies, an original MMORPG released in the Star Wars gaming Universe.
The Dark Side is represented by our connected guilds. They’re always looking for new players.
Backstory:
Republic Task Force Aurek is a military-themed guild within the Star Wars: The Old Republic. Originally a part of the communities of Star Wars: Galaxies, the guild moved to SWTOR at its beginning when Galaxies was taken offline due to its income projections.
In 2020, Republic Task Force Aurek was repurposed as the main representation within SWTOR of the content creation company, Theostar Group.
Purpose:
The mission of the guild (Aurek) was originally laid out by our founders as way to build a full regiment of retired military veterans, or like minded people (6,000 people), who wanted to approach the game in a serious manner, much like the 501st Legion.
This is the 121st Infantry Regiment:
When Theostar Group took control of the guild in 2020, it was used as a means to inspire the player community through professional playstyle, the funding of a player’s individual projects, basic needs, and desires for public performances cast through the lens of live role-play.
Now the main mission of 121st is to create new content to present to BioWare, continuing the player’s story in a way that centers around the Mandalorian plotline within SWTOR.
